Clayton Fopp has a long history in starting new congregations, planting new churches, training leaders, and teaching the Bible in a variety of contexts. In 2002, while a student at the Bible College of South Australia, Clayton launched an evening service at the Anglican Parish of Magill, in South Australia where he was Youth Pastor. Then in 2004, he planted an evening congregation at Trinity Church Aldgate.
In 2010 he led the team which planted Trinity Church Mount Barker, the first “grand-daughter” church in the Trinity Network of Churches. Then in 2014 he recruited, led, and sent out the starter team for Trinity Church Victor Harbor, an uncommon “great-grand-daughter” church.
Clayton served as Senior Pastor of Trinity Church Mount Barker for 9 years, and prior to this served as Associate Pastor at Trinity Church Aldgate. He completed his theological studies at the Bible College of South Australia after a two year apprenticeship with Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students. Clayton also served as Lead Pastor for the Hills Region in the Trinity Network of Churches, taking in Trinity Church Aldgate, Trinity Church Mount Barker, and Trinity Church Victor Harbor.
Clayton lectures and teaches beyond the local church, principally in the areas of preaching and church planting. He has served as a judge in the Australian Christian Book of the Year Awards, and also as Vice-President of the Church Missionary Society in South Australia/Northern Territory.
In 2019 Clayton took up the position of Senior Assistant Pastor at Dundonald Church, London.
He is also a trustee of Nine Thirty Eight, which exists to help local churches raise up gospel workers by resourcing pastors, envisioning those exploring gospel work, and encouraging ministry trainees.
Clayton continues to resource church plants, churches, and other gospel ministries through coaching, providing resources, training, and consultation. All the resources on this site are provided free of charge, to further gospel ministry, for the glory of God.
